Ever since its creation, 28 years ago, Melvita has always underlined its attachment to nature and natural diversity through its "nature at heart" approach and its unflinching commitment to ecological and humanist values.  

In parallel with its business activities, Melvita has also always strived to support biodiversity at a local level by giving its backing to many projects run by associations and charities.   

Today, the Melvita Foundation is continuing and developing a sponsorship policy that is already well established and has a strong link with the ecological commitments of its founder.   

The Foundation's Missions

The Melvita Foundation is committed to implementing and supporting exemplary initiatives for the common good, in France and abroad with two specific objectives :

 > To safeguard the future of bees by taking part in any studies or initiatives that may help put a stop to their disappearance, protect their habitat, and promote the development of beekeeping throughout the world.

Propose a project

Decisions regarding the financing of projects will be made by the Foundation's Board of Trustees, which meets twice a year, in May and November.

Plan ahead!

Project proposal must be received by the Foundation by April 1 at the latest (for projects considered by the Board in May) and October 1 (for projects considered in November).
